- Stephen completed a Bachelor of Electrical
Engineering at Dalhousie University in 2002. Prior to undertaking his engineering
studies, he spent eight years as a Naval Electronic Technician (Tactical) in the
Canadian Armed Forces. He has experience in the development and implementation of
underwater acoustic data acquisition systems, sonar system testing, systems integration
and, radar and command and control systems engineering. While with JASCO Stephen
has either been a team leader or team participant in projects involving acoustic
array application development (both hardware and software), Statistical Energy Analysis
(SEA), development of parallel-processing solutions for efficient data processing
on heterogeneous networks, and airborne/waterborne acoustic predictive application
development. Additionally Stephen has extensive operational experience at sea, combined
with fieldwork experience.
