JASCO Research has several teams dedicated to providing services to clients who require specialized capabilities in the areas of Acoustics, Blast Physics, Vision Systems and Image Processing, Systems Integration and Information Systems.

The Acoustics & Vibration Team provides services ranging from the theoretical modeling of the propagation of sound and ground waves to the field measurement and analysis of acoustic phenomena. Our team has performed studies of underwater and land based acoustics and ground vibration in regions worldwide.

The Blast Physics Team has tens of years of combined practical and theoretical background in numerical blast modeling, field measurement of shock waves and particle motion, and interaction of blast with structures. This considerable experience has led to the development of specialized software for the forecasting of blast properties and the assessment of emergency explosive threats. The company draws on this expertise to provide contracted services in support of defence and civilian blast studies.

The Vision Systems & Image Processing Team has extensive experience in a wide variety of imaging techniques, including high speed photography, underwater imaging, advanced image processing and automated identification and analysis techniques. Our team has developed techniques incorporating advanced videography software with cutting edge hardware to provide a broad span of capabilities.

The Systems Integration Team has developed custom systems ranging from specialized acoustic arrays and precision laboratory apparatus to oceanographic instruments capable of operating 6000m under the sea. Whether you need common components integrated in an uncommon fashion, or an entirely new system developed, our team can handle the task.

JASCO's Information Systems Team can develop powerful, state-of-the-art solutions for all your systems development requirements.
