- Mikhail’s specialty is in acoustic modeling
programs. He has also been
involved in several acoustic monitoring studies designed to assess the noise levels
from seismic operations and offshore operations related
to oil and gas exploration and port facility development. He has worked as
an acoustic team member and team lead during vessel-based surveys in
the Alaskan Beaufort Sea, Chukchi Sea and in Gulf of Thailand. Mikhail has extensive experience in acoustic
modeling and acoustic data signal analysis. His background in geophysics gives him
valuable insight at developing the geoacoustic models that are required by acoustic
models.
His regular duties involve compiling geoacoustic models and auxiliary data, acoustic modeling, modeling results analysis, GIS work and report writing. Mikhail has been a co-author and main author
of many acoustic EA reports for projects performed
by JASCO.
