- Isabelle has worked as a physical oceanographer
since 1997, specializing in acoustic data collection and analysis since 2001. She
has worked with acoustic systems used for several oceanographic applications,
including sea floor classification, physical and biological oceanography, fisheries
acoustics, instrumentation research and development. Since 2005 Isabelle has focused work
on acoustic modelling performed to predict sound level footprints generated by oil
and gas exploration and drilling programs. Her work also includes data analysis and visualization tools, reporting and publication. Since joining JASCO in 2006,
she has been involved in a number of studies designed to assess noise input into
the environment from activities such as seismic exploration and marine construction.
