Since its origin in 1981, JASCO has developed and implemented acoustic technologies for underwater acoustics, ranging from advanced acoustic recording systems design to complex acoustic modelling algorithms. We perform acoustic consulting, field monitoring and data analysis services. Our work encompasses all stages of environmental reviews and assessments of underwater noise. We work with regulatory, oil and gas, marine construction, energy, fisheries, transport, and defence sectors. We are a world leader in the science related to anthropogenic noise and its effects on marine life. JASCO has offices in Victoria, BC, Halifax, NS, the United States, Australia, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
